Microplastics Can Travel at least 60-75 miles

If you thought that the issue of plastic was a matter plastic bags, bottles, straws and packaging, then you need to read this article. As it turns out, microplastics, which aren't visible to the eye, can travel long distances ( 60-75 miles) and end up in what we think of as 'pristine' areas. It is time to up our game on the plastic front! Write to your elected officials, from local to federal, and encourange them to give more focus to plastic.
